As the highest and most impressive features of landscapes, mountains have long possessed an unusual ability to awaken in people a sense of the sacred. Hundreds of sacred mountains exist throughout the world, revered by billions of all beliefs, religious or secular. Join me as I explore the history, geography, politics and myths surrounding these cultural landscapes through which I hope to elucidate the magic of mountains.
